There are countless reasons to fall in love with Warsaw!

It will not be very revealing to say that Warsaw is very different from other European cities. Every city has its own ambience and history. But there is something in this capital that can be really new for the people from other countries. It is its history. Warsaw was known before the II World War as the Paris of the Eastern Europe. Now, just walking by the streets of the city, you can see beautiful prewar buildings neighbouring with heavy communist or cutting edge architecture. Some of the buildings that survived World War II still have visible bullet holes in their fašades. There are many discussions about the the city landscape. It is not always beautiful and charming, but for sure, it is a memorial of city´s history and it may be the best way to think about Warsaw as a whole.

The historic center of Warsaw -- which Nazi troops almost completely destroyed in 1944 and which was carefully rebuilt after the war -- is designated as a World Heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. "It is an outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century," UNESCO says. Bright, friendly colors of the buildings, flowers at the windows, little shops, delicious candies and food make this place so charming and romantic. From there, you can also have a nice walk to the Vistula River and visit a pearl of the polish modern architecture which is the Library of the University of Warsaw.

Modern Warsaw is a mix of shiny new skyscrapers, tree-lined boulevards, ornate prewar buildings and somber concrete communist relics. Fast-foods compete for customers with restaurants offering traditional Polish pierogi. Expensive new cars share the road with crowded buses and trams.

Warsaw is also a home for 370 000 students from the whole country and the world. The student life is very vibrant. There are so many students´s bars and clubs, most active students´ organizations, best universities in Poland. So many cultural events take place and there are many discounts for the us.

As your hosts, we will try to lead you through the roads not known for the ordinary tourists. See you in Warsaw and get ready for falling in love with Warsaw.
